Tax conditions for donations for French citizens
As an individual, donations made to associations under the 1901 law and organisations of general interest are eligible for an income tax reduction of 66% of the donation - 75% of the donation up to 530 euros (then 66% on the higher bracket).
Companies are entitled to a tax reduction of 60% of the amount of the donation. However, the amount of donations used to calculate the reduction may not exceed, in any one financial year, a ceiling of €20,000 or 5‰ of the donor company's annual turnover excluding tax, whichever is higher.
