Maisha Marefu supports the Imprezza School created by Catherine Omanyo.

The school is dedicated to providing education and essential support to 140 students, predominantly young girls, facing diverse challenges. A team of nine dedicated teachers, sometimes working on a voluntary basis delivers instruction across a diverse curriculum, ensuring that every student receives a comprehensive education.

As a boarding school, Imprezza hosts students facing many challenges, from poverty and orphanhood to HIV-positive status and family rejection. Through resilience and determination, the schools provides a nurturing and supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Catherine Omanyo School faces numerous challenges, particularly in ensuring the well-being of the students. Many of them sleep in dormitories with inadequate beds and limited access to food, while sanitary conditions remain difficult. Access to educational material for all, also remains a constrain.

Supporting the creation of a poultry house

The Power of Poultry Farming: A poultry farm has been donated by Maisha Marefu to offers a viable income-generating opportunity and support access to eggs and chicken complementing the meals.

Investing in Dignity: The donation of 20 beds and mattresses represents a transformative moment for Catherine Omanyo School, where many students currently sleep in overcrowded dormitories with inadequate bedding, or even on the floor.

Spirulina Supply

Food Supplement supply: we partner with Kugawana Spirulina to supply spirulina to Imprezza School with the aim of enhancing the nutritional well-being of the students. access to nutritious meals is crucial for their physical and cognitive development. Many students come from impoverished backgrounds and lack access to a balanced diet. The supply of spirulina ensures that students receive a high input of nutrients, helping to address nutritional deficiencies and promote health.
